Kentucky Derby Pie

This super easy dump and bake pie is a classic for any Kentuckian. Its Derby Day y'all, what better reason for a pie?!?

Ingredients:

1 Pie Crust (homemade or store bought)

1 Cup sugar

1 stick of butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 cup pecans

1 cup chocolate chips

5 tablespoons flour

2 tablespoon bourbon barrel maple syrup (can use regular bourbon here)

In mixer, combine flour and sugar. Add in butter and eggs, blending until smooth. Then add in bourbon maple syrup or bourbon and blend until mixed in. With a rubber spatula fold in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour into your pie crust and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Occasionally check on the pie to ensure its not getting too brown on the top, if this happens you can add a layer of aluminum foil to protect it while it bakes. So simple and tasty!
